The massive Aqours update draws near, and here's the second part to the special two part introduction! This time we'll be talking about exciting updates with club members as well as some details on songs.
Club Member Updates
・New Rarity SSR
The brand new rarity SSR is a rarity between SR and UR, and will be available from Honor Student Scouting. We should also mention that chances for SRs are increased for some Scoutings!
・Member Skill Mechanics Updated
The way you increase member Skill Level will be changed. You will need to Practice with a member with the same Skill or with a Support Member to gain Skill Exp, and the level will go up after collecting enough Exp. In addition, you will be able to select a Support member to Practice with regardless of their rarity.
- The Attribute of the Support Member still needs to be the same.
- Skill Exp received is not affected by Super Success or Ultra Success.
・Leader Skills Updated
UR Leader Skills gain further buffs when certain conditions are met, such as being teamed with members of the same sub-unit, or members of the same school year.
・Partnering up
You can now Partner with your favorite member, and she will be your navigator on the top menu. Your friends will continue to see the leader of your primary team as your icon.
・Fav Points
In addition to the Bond with individual members, the new Fav listing based on Fav Points will track which members you prefer to use. Fav Points are earned by adding members to the team, or by setting them as your Partner.
・Appearance Switching
Idolized members can be switched back to their pre-Idolization appearance.
・Club Members List Expanded
Initial max will be increased from 90 to 120, and the Goals to increase the slots will be removed.
- If you've already achieved the increased slots as Goal rewards, there will not be any additional slots given.
- Any Goal that gave member slots as a reward will give a Love Gem instead. If you've already achieved these Goals, you will be given the equal amount of Love Gems after the update.
The absolute max number of members are increased to 1000. Member slots increased per Love Gem spent will be increased from 3 to 4.
- If you've already spent Love Gems to increase the slots, you will be given an additional slot per Love Gem spent after the update.
Support Members will be categorized separately and will not be counted as club members.
- If you own Support Members with Skill Level higher than 1, they will be replaced with equivalent number of Skill Level 1 Support Members.
e.g. Skill Level 2 Support Member x1 > Skill Level 1 Support Member x2
The member list filtering enhancements
More filters will be added to make it easier for you to find the member you're looking for!
Songs
・New MASTER difficulty
A new difficulty level "Master" will be added to the B-Side releases. We plan to add four songs a month, starting with μ's songs.
・Changes to EXPERT songs
Expert songs will become a regular feature. Songs you have unlocked already will automatically have Expert as a difficulty choice.
- Regular Hit songs will no longer have their Expert versions released as B-Sides.
- All Song Goals will be carried over.
・μ's and Aqours
You'll be able to switch between μ's mode and Aqours mode, and this will also change the songs available to play. You can use any member to play either of the modes, but μ's member will give you more points in μ's mode and Aqours member in Aqours mode. Aqours songs are unlocked by completing Goals that are not related to Rank.
・Random Choice
A song of a specific Attribute will be randomly selected from the list of songs you have already unlocked. The Attribute will change daily, and the songs will be available from both μ's and Aqours modes in all four difficulties. Random Choice songs will give more Reward Points to fill up your Reward Box! This mode will be unlocked after you have unlocked a certain number of regular Hit songs.
