You is a second year student of the Uranohoshi Girls' High School and Chika's classmate. She is good at high diving, so much so that she even qualified for the national team! In the future though, she wants to become a captain of a ferry boat, just like her father.

Love Live! Sunshine!! is a brand new cross-media project based on the concept "a story that makes our dreams come true." A youth drama that follows a group of high school girls from Uchiura in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture who form an idol group called "Aqours". The project has been adapted for various media, including an animated TV series, music CDs, stage events, magazines, mobile phone applications, and many more. Love Live! Sunshine!! made its debut in Dengeki G's Magazine in April 2015, and the first single, "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?", was released in October of the same year. The TV anime series is scheduled to begin airing in summer 2016.
