There are two ways you can back up your game data and transfer it to a new device.
1. Transfer ID and Transfer Passcode
This method has been updated, and you can now create your own Transfer Passcode, and have both a Transfer ID and a Transfer Passcode to transfer your game data to a new device.
How to set a Transfer Passcode
Step 1. Tap "Other" on the home screen.
Step 2. Tap "Settings."
Step 3. Select the "Account" tab.
Step 4. Tap "Set."
Step 5. Create a Transfer Passcode then tap "OK."
- A Transfer Passcode must be more than 8 and less than 17 characters and contain at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, and a number.
You will see your Transfer ID and the Transfer Passcode after tapping "OK." Please make sure to take a screen shot or write both numbers down for safe keeping.
Notes
- Transfer Passcodes you create after the update have no expiration date. A Transfer Passcode issued before the update is valid for one year from the day it was issued. - Transfer Passcodes are one-time use only.
- When you create a Transfer Passcode, the previous Transfer Passcode becomes invalid.
- Giving or sharing your Transfer ID and/or Transfer Passcode to another person is a violation of the Terms of Use.
2. Google Account
You can link your game to your Google Account to back up your game data.
How to link with the Google Account
Step 1. Tap "Other" in the home screen.
Step 2. Tap "Settings."
Step 3. Select the "Account" tab.
Step 4. Tap "Link" found next to the "Google Account."
Notes
- You can only link one Love Live! School Idol Festival game data to a Google Account at a time.
- The Google Account can only be used to transfer game data to another Android device.
- If you transfer game data using a Transfer ID and a Transfer Passcode when you also were linked to the Google Account, the link will be automatically removed. If you wish to link to the Google Account again, please do so from your new Android device.
■Transferring your game data to a different OS
You must use a Transfer ID and a Transfer Passcode to transfer game data to a device of a different OS. The Google Account cannot be used.
How to transfer game data to a device with a different OS
Step 1. Make sure there are no remaining Love Gems or Scouting Tickets/Coupons you gained from purchased packs.
Step 2. Make sure you have a valid Transfer ID and Transfer Passcode.
Step 3. On your new device, tap "Other" in the home screen.
Step 4. Tap "Settings."
Step 5. Select the "Account" tab.
Step 6. Tap "Enter" and enter your Transfer ID and Transfer Passcode.
Notes
- Scouting Tickets/Coupons you received for free can be transferred.
- Love Gems uncollected in your Present Box can be transferred.
